Nazi Occupation

BIG ASS FILE. BEWARE.

I finally finished. D: Second lineless painting of the day *score*

Anywhoo~ This is the other piece I had in mind to accompany the Rape of Belgium picture... D: They were originally supposed to be one pic, but then I'm like "Hey, these are from two different wars..."

INFORMATION (if you care to know)
Big ass Mother Russia had a crap load of countries in one big house called the USSR- TEH SOVIET UNION, DA~. Ukraine was the "bread-basket" of the USSR- she was the main crop producer and stuff. Naturally, when Hitler wanted to invade Russia for more land, Ukrained was totally sexy. Course, Russia sucked ass for most of the war, so his butt was whipped and Ukraine became occupied by Germany and split four ways: part of her belonged to Bulgaria, another part for Romania, one part for the German Military and the last part i don't remember.

All the Ukrainians were overjoyed at first when the Nazis swept through the country because they hated the oppressive communist leaders. They believed the Nazis would liberate them and allow them to have their own government and continue their Orthodox beliefs. Three days after Germany invaded, they dismantled the new goverment and slaughtered a shit load of Ukrainians. :/ Yup.
